Interestingly this song by Dave Lowe was used when the band he was in ‘Scoby Smith’ appeared on ‘New Faces’ in 1976 and won the show and then the all winners show and was runner up in the Gala Final. The song was released on Pye Records – we still have a copy on 45′! 
Now there’s a fresh new feel to this demo of the song and a gender reversal lyrically, but it’s still got that classic sound to it.
